So...How'd we get here?

Madi and Peter’s story began just before the world hit pause. A simple introduction did not seem like much at the time, but it turned out to be the start of something life-changing. From the very beginning, everything just clicked.

 

On April 23, 2020, Peter asked Madi to be his in the middle of a global pandemic. A few months later, he left for West Virginia University, and a year later, Madi followed. It felt a lot like fate.

 

College brought shared apartments, late-night snacks, and the ongoing debate over whose turn it was to do the dishes. It also brought lifelong friendships, countless memories, and the kind of growing up that happens best when you are side by side with someone you love.

 

After graduating together in May 2024, they moved to Toledo, where Madi began her MSN. For the first time, it was just the two of them in a cozy apartment with their two cats.

 

On February 18, 2025, Peter decided it was time. With the support of their loved ones, he got down on one knee in their apartment. It was nothing flashy, just heartfelt and right. She said yes, surrounded by love, their cats, and the comfort of knowing they had found their forever.

 

Now, they are planning a wedding and a lifetime together.
